Mr Bartlett,

Thank you for your comments regarding the above photograph. You clearly have some sort of military background, therefore you will be aware that individuals are untitled to wear their relatives medals or ribbons once the recipient has passed away. People involved in Living history come from various backgrounds and some may be young and others older. If you were to look at a picture of a regular Army/RAF or RN unit you will see they are various sizes, ages and genders. These men are trying to portray a military unit, and educate people free of charge on what our forefathers achieved. I am sure you felt great after making your comments, research is two sided.

Oldest bunch of airborne soldiers I've ever seen. the officer's uniform is abysmal. Black boots? Green shirt? Overweight? back row second from left and back row centre are the only realistic people there. And what's with the idiot far left standing. His medal ribbons are clearly cobbled together from a charity shop. Who did he claim won those? he certainly got about a bit. perhaps he should do a bit more research. And as for far right standing... er cradle snatching?
